Halftone makes offset printing plates. Around that, we do the work that gets a file to the point where a plate can be made from it.
01
Offset plate output
This is the core of the business. Computer-to-plate output in nine sizes and two gauges — 0.15 mm and 0.30 mm — from 400 × 510 mm up to 800 × 1030 mm. Consistent, repeatable, and fast.
- Nine sizes from 400 × 510 mm to 800 × 1030 mm
- 0.15 mm and 0.30 mm gauges
- About 60 minutes for a print-ready file
- The same file always gives the same plate

02
Design
We have a design section. Some customers arrive with a finished file, some arrive with a rough idea and a deadline. Both are welcome.
- New artwork built from scratch
- Redrawing and rebuilding supplied artwork
- Layout and typesetting
- Arabic and English on the same job
03
Artwork preparation
The unglamorous work that decides whether a job prints cleanly. Most files that arrive need at least one of these.
- Preflight — fonts, resolution, colour mode, transparency
- Bleed and trim set correctly for the finishing
- Colour separation and overprint checks
- Colour adjustment on the artwork itself
- Image cleanup and retouching
- Barcodes drawn and verified

04
Imposition
Pages placed on the sheet for your press and your binding, so what comes off the folder is what you expected.
- Laid out for your press size and grip
- Set for the finishing method
- Step-and-repeat for labels and repeat work
- Proof of the imposition before we output
05
Delivery
Most customers collect. If you'd rather not send someone, we deliver — this carries a surcharge, and we'll tell you what it is before you agree to it.
- Delivery available on request
- Surcharge quoted up front
- Collection is always free
